The Lamborghini 350GT: The First of Its Kind

1966 Lamborghini 350 GTS Spider

The Lamborghini 350GT made its debut at the Turin Motor Show in 1963 as the first production car ever made by Lamborghini. This iconic vehicle boasted a 3.5 liter quad-cam V-12 engine, independent rear suspension, and a 2+1 semi-fastback body by Carrozzeria Touring of Milan, which was considered controversial at the time. Despite this, the 350GT received high praises for its high-revving engine, stable cornering, and superior finish. Even on rough surfaces, the car was able to handle with ease. A total of 120 units were built from 1963 to 1966, cementing its place as a timeless classic in the world of automotive history.
