The 426 Hemi engine in the Dodge Charger Daytona is legendary. Selecting an automatic resulted in 3.23:1 gears as standard in the Chrysler 8-3/4-inch rear axle regardless of the engine, while the four-speeds came with 3.54:1 gears in the Sure-Grip-equipped Dana 9-3/4-inch rear axle.
