This 1968 Ford Mustang GT coupe was originally delivered to Pauls Ford Sales Inc. in Kansas City, Missouri. It is one of only 4,118 examples that were ordered with the California Special equipment package. The current owner acquired the car in 1988 and subsequently had it refurbished. The refurbishment included a black repaint with red side stripes and a refresh of the interior, which now features red vinyl upholstery. The car is powered by a replacement 302ci V8 engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission. It also comes equipped with a limited-slip rear axle, a scooped hood, a rear spoiler, power steering, front disc brakes, air conditioning, and a push-button AM/FM radio. In 1993, the car was sold, but the current owner reacquired it in 2014. Since then, they have replaced the brake primary cylinder and valve covers, flushed the radiator, and cleaned various engine components. Included with the car is a Deluxe Marti report, partial service records, a copy of the window sticker, and a clean Georgia title in the name of the current owner and their spouse.
